Smart Camera Hub Aqara G350
Aqara G350 Smart Camera Hub – a 4K indoor camera that also acts as the hub for your smart home
See the whole room, zoom in on what matters, get alerts only when something important happens, and tie the camera into your sensors, switches, and other smart devices — that’s exactly what the Aqara Camera Hub G350 is built for. It’s a modern indoor PTZ camera with dual lenses, a 4K wide-angle view, a 2.5K telephoto lens, 9x hybrid zoom, and 360° pan coverage. On top of that, it also works as an Aqara Zigbee hub, Matter Controller, and Matter bridge.

Unlike a regular indoor camera, the G350 does more than just record video. It helps you build a full smart home setup by bringing Aqara Zigbee devices and third-party Matter devices together in one place through Aqara Home. So instead of adding another separate hub, you get one device that works as both a security camera and the control center for automations, alerts, and everyday routines.
The G350 is a good fit for anyone who wants more than just a live video feed on their phone. It offers local AI detection, person and pet tracking, face, pet, sound, and gesture recognition, two-way audio, 24/7 recording to microSD, NAS backup, plus compatibility with Apple HomeKit Secure Video, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, SmartThings, and Home Assistant for streaming.
When does it help most?
If you want one device that gives you both an indoor camera and a smart home hub. The G350 can replace a separate hub while also giving you full room coverage.
If it matters to you not just to see the whole room, but also the smaller details. The dual-camera setup combines a 4K wide-angle view with a 2.5K telephoto lens, so you get both the full picture and a closer view in one device.
If you have kids, older family members, or pets at home and want alerts about things that actually matter instead of just “motion detected.” The camera can locally recognize people, pets, faces, lens blocking, and certain sounds.
If you’re building a smart home with Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, or Matter devices. The G350 is Aqara’s first Matter-certified camera, and it’s designed to work across multiple ecosystems.

Main benefits and features
Dual-lens camera with 4K + 2.5K video
The Aqara G350 uses a dual-camera system: one lens gives you a 4K wide-angle view, while the other gives you a 2.5K telephoto close-up. That means one device can give you a full-room view and still pick up details from farther away.
9x hybrid zoom
With 9x hybrid zoom, you can zoom in on the part that matters without losing as much clarity as with standard digital zoom. You can zoom in in different ways — either with the zoom controls or by tapping a specific area in the image.
360° room coverage with PTZ movement
The camera supports pan/tilt movement and gives you a 360° view of the room, which helps reduce blind spots. It can move to a selected point, use saved viewing angles, and follow selected zones. According to the manufacturer, it supports up to 30 preset positions.
AI auto-tracking for people and pets
The G350 can automatically follow people or pets and keep them in frame. Unlike simpler cameras, it doesn’t just track movement — it can also adjust the framing and zoom so the close-up stays useful and steady. When the subject leaves the frame, the camera can return to its original position.

Local AI detection – more useful alerts, less noise
The camera handles several types of event detection locally, including person, pet, face, lens blocking, sound, and gesture detection. That means faster response and better privacy, since the main AI features don’t depend only on cloud services.
Sound detection for family and home safety
The G350 can recognize certain sounds, such as a baby crying, coughing, or a dog barking, along with other preset events, so you get an alert when it actually matters. That’s useful in a nursery, living room, home office, or in homes where pets stay on their own.
Clear two-way audio
The camera offers two-way audio, so you can not only listen, but also talk to someone in the room. That’s handy for speaking with family members or, for example, getting your child’s or pet’s attention. Aqara says it supports full-duplex audio and clearer conversations than basic cameras.
Zigbee hub + Matter Controller + Matter bridge
This is one of the G350’s biggest strengths. The camera works at the same time as an Aqara Zigbee hub, Matter Controller and Matter bridge, so it can connect Aqara devices with the biggest ecosystems while also bringing third-party Matter products into Aqara Home. That gives you a lot more flexibility for automations.

Wide compatibility with popular platforms
The G350 supports HomeKit Secure Video, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, SmartThings, and Home Assistant streaming, as well as direct use in Matter setups. In Apple Home, keep in mind that the resolution is limited to 1080p, and using HomeKit Secure Video requires iCloud+ and an Apple home hub. For Home Assistant integration, Aqara says RTSP streaming is available.
Local storage and 24/7 recording
The camera supports a microSD card up to 512 GB and 24/7 recording. It also supports NAS backup, while Aqara’s encrypted cloud storage is available as another option. Please note that the microSD card is not included.
A real privacy mode
Unlike cameras where “privacy mode” is just a software setting, the G350 gives you physical lens blocking when the camera is turned off. That gives you a clearer and more reassuring sense of privacy at home.
Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and WPA3
The G350 uses 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 and supports WPA3, so the connection stays more stable, faster, and more secure, even in homes with lots of devices.

Why choose the Aqara G350?
It’s not just a camera — it’s also a smart home hub.
In one device, you get a 4K full-room view, telephoto close-ups, automatic tracking, and smart automations.
It’s a great option for people who want a simpler but still powerful smart home setup without buying a bunch of separate devices.
It’s especially well suited for families, pet owners, and people who care about privacy, local AI processing, and compatibility across different platforms.
Where does it work best?
In the living room — to keep the whole room in view and zoom in on a specific area when needed.
In a nursery — to get alerts about a baby crying or other important sounds.
In homes with pets — to keep an eye on your pet and get alerts about activity.
In a home office or hallway — to monitor key areas while also using the camera as the center of your smart home automations.

Important things to know before buying
The Aqara G350 is an indoor camera, not an outdoor model. The manufacturer lists an operating temperature range of -10°C to +45°C, which confirms it’s meant for indoor use.
A microSD card is not included, so you’ll need to buy one separately if you want local storage or 24/7 video recording.
In Apple Home, video resolution is limited to 1080p, even though the camera itself records at a higher quality.
In Home Assistant, Aqara says RTSP streaming is supported, but not every feature from the Aqara app carries over.
How to install the Aqara G350 Smart Camera Hub?
- Pick a good spot for the camera in the room where you want to cover as much space as possible. The PTZ mechanism and 360° movement help one device cover more of the room.
- Connect the camera to power using the included USB-C cable. The camera runs on 5V⎓2A power.
- Insert a microSD card if you want local video storage and 24/7 recording.
- Download the Aqara Home app and add the device to your account.
- Connect the camera to Wi-Fi and set up the features you need: AI detection, person or pet tracking, alerts, preset positions, privacy mode, and automations.
- If needed, add the camera to Apple HomeKit Secure Video, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, SmartThings, or use it as a Zigbee hub and Matter Controller to expand your smart home setup.
If you’re looking for a modern indoor camera that does more than just record video, the Aqara Camera Hub G350 (CH-C14D) is a really strong choice. It brings together 4K video, 9x hybrid zoom, 360° PTZ coverage, local AI detection, two-way audio, and full smart home hub functionality in one device. So you’re getting not just better security and easier monitoring, but also one platform for automations, sensors, and other smart home devices — all from one device that genuinely does more.
