One Series, Three Versions. Which One Do You Need?

All three models have the same premium look with a sleek glass panel. The main difference is the type of relay inside, depending on your heating system.

1. For Electric Underfloor Heating (up to 16A)

• Meross MTS215MA (White): A great fit for electric heating mats, infrared heating film, and heating cables. It can handle loads of up to 3600 W.

2. For Water Underfloor Heating and Boilers (up to 3A)

Designed to control thermoelectric actuators (Normally Closed / Normally Open) on a heating manifold. It also has dry-contact outputs for controlling a gas or electric boiler.

• Meross MTS215BMA (White): Classic white finish.

• Meross MTS215BMA-B (Black): A deep black finish that looks great in loft-style spaces and modern dark interiors.

Will This Thermostat Work With My Heating System? (A Quick Look at the Wiring)

Not sure if you can replace your old thermostat with a smart one? In most cases, you can. Here's a quick way to check:

If you have electric underfloor heating (MTS215MA): Remove the front panel of your old thermostat. If you see 6 wires connected to it, the replacement should take around 10 minutes. You should have:

1. Power supply (2 wires): Live (L) and Neutral (N) from the electrical distribution board (220V).

2. Heating load (2 wires): These run to the heating element in the floor (L1, N1).

3. Sensor (2 thin wires): These run to the external temperature sensor installed in the floor. The Meross MTS215MA comes with its own sensor, but it also works with most standard built-in 10kΩ sensors.

If you have water underfloor heating or a boiler (MTS215BMA / BMA-B): The wiring is different. The load is much lower (up to 3A) because the thermostat only controls the valves and actuators.

1. For water underfloor heating: Connect the 220V power wires (L, N) and the wires running to the actuator on the manifold, which opens and closes the heating circuit.

2. For a boiler (Dry contact): The 220V power supply (L, N) powers the thermostat itself, while the boiler's control wires connect to the COM / NO terminals. The thermostat then works like a smart switch, telling the boiler to turn on when the room temperature drops.

How to Install and Connect It

Important: Installation should be carried out by a qualified professional in accordance with electrical safety regulations.

1. Switch off the power at the electrical panel.

2. Remove the old thermostat.

3. Connect the wires according to the wiring diagram on the back of the Meross thermostat (Live, Neutral, Load/Control, Sensor).

4. Secure the metal frame to a standard European-style 86x86 mm junction box.

5. Snap the glass panel into place and turn the power back on.

6. Open your smart home app (Apple Home, Google Home, etc.), scan the Matter setup code from the manual, and you're ready to go!
